To help meet the rising demand for professionals with this critical blend of technical and business understanding, ISACA® brought together its industry experts from around the globe to develop what is fast becoming the gold standard designation for risk management—the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC™) certification.
 

The CRISC Exam Preparation course is an intensive programme to prepare individuals who are planning to sit for the Certified in Risk and Information System Controls™ (CRISC) exam.

The course focuses on the key points covered in the latest edition of the CRISC Review Manual and includes class lectures, group discussions, exam practice and answer debriefs. The course is intended for individuals with familiarity with and experience in IT and enterprise risk management.

The CRISC Exam Preparation Course comprises seven primary sections, covering the following topics:

  • General Examination Information
    The Context of IT Risk Management
    Domain 1: IT Risk Identification
    ○ Domain 2: IT Risk Assessment
    ○ Domain 3: Risk Response and Mitigation
    ○ Domain 4: Risk and Control Monitoring and Reporting
    ○ Domain 5: Protection of Information Assets (27 percent)
  • Examination Practice

Typically, each day of the course will cover a single CRISC domain, using lecture, group activities and practice questions.

By completing this course, the following Learning Outcomes (LO) will be achieved:
  • LO1: Plan an organisational information system risk governance framework
  • LO2: Devise organisational information system risk assessment processes to evaluate identified enterprise risks
  • LO3: Identify information system security risks, threats and vulnerabilities
  • LO4: Determine information system security risk treatments
  • LO5: Implement information system security risk treatments
The target audience for this course are professionals who manage, design, oversee and assess an enterprise’s risk management programme including:
  • Cybersecurity/information security practitioner
  • Cybersecurity/information security internal/external auditor
  • Risk management practitioner
  • Compliance/governance practitioner
  • IT management
Recommended Learner Profile:
  • Language and literacy proficiency level : Minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ Levels Passes including English or WPL Level 5
  • Required years of experience in relevant domain : Minimum of 1 year of working experience.

Candidates who successfully completed the course and pass the exam will be allowed to apply for formal CRISC accreditation from ISACA.

About the examination:

  • Complex Multiple Choice Questions.
  • 150 questions.
  • 4 hours duration.
  • Scaled Score between 200 to 800 Marks.
  • 450 Marks required to pass.

Certificate of Attendance from Sapience Consulting:
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Sapience Consulting.

    Candidates must pass all prescribed tests/assessments and attain 100% competency to be eligible for funding support.
    Mode of Assessment: Written Assessment, Case Study Assessment.
  • Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore:
    After passing the assessment(s), you’ll receive a SkillsFuture Singapore Statement of Attainment (SOA) certifying that you have achieved the following Competency Standard(s):
    ICT-SNA-4007-1.1 – Cyber Risk Management-4.
